The Autistic Adults on Tour Foundation and the global Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program, of which the Foundation is the sole representative in Poland, have officially joined the Polish government program Dostępność Plus (Accessibility Plus).

On March 2, 2026, a meeting of the signatories of the Partnership for Accessibility was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy an initiative that brings together public administration, local governments, businesses, nongovernmental organizations, and academic institutions around a shared goal: the systemic implementation of accessibility in Poland.

During the meeting, the Foundation signed the Declaration of the Partnership for Accessibility, thereby expressing its support for the initiative and for efforts to improve the situation of people with disabilities in Poland. The Foundation also added its entry to the Partnership Register and presented information about its work and its activities on behalf of people with invisible disabilities.

This is an important step for the Autistic Adults on Tour Foundation, which consistently develops its work on behalf of accessibility and represents the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program in Poland.

Joining the Partnership for Accessibility is another stage in building public awareness, strengthening the visibility of people with invisible disabilities, and working together to create a more accessible Poland.

Charity Sunflower Run for the Invisible

We run for those whose disabilities aren’t always visible. 🌻 On June 13, 2026, we’re meeting in Warsaw for the 2nd Sunflower Run a special charity event that brings together sport, empathy, and real support. This isn’t just a race. It’s also an important social initiative aimed at raising public awareness about invisible disabilities. Because invisible doesn’t mean nonexistent. A full 80% of all disabilities are invisible. The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program also notes that the Sunflower can be associated with more than 900 invisible disabilities, conditions, and chronic illnesses. That shows just how many people face challenges every day that simply aren’t apparent at first glance. Participants can choose from 3 km, 6 km, and 9 km distances, but you don’t have to be a professional runner. You can run, jog, or simply walk the route. What matters most is that you’re here with us. All proceeds from the event help fund vacation trips for autistic adults with care, support, and the space to be themselves. 📍 Pole Mokotowskie, Warsaw 🗓 Saturday, June 13, 2026 ⏰ Start at 10:00 AM Join us, and together let’s show that Warsaw sees the Sunflower. 🌻 #SunflowerRun #Sunflower #InvisibleDisabilities #HiddenDisabilitiesSunflower #Warsaw #CharityRun #AutisticAdultsOnTour Charity Sunflower Run for the Invisible
